Praise the Lord!!!

God always hears our prayers and He answers us in 3 different ways...

1. Yes
2. No
3. Wait

Well, He did the same for us!
I think He first told us to wait for the right timing.
Here is the story:

After purchasing the flight tickets for our family to Korea, we started to pray for a place to stay during our stay in Korea. As most of you all know, having 8 children in Korea is more than unusual thing... Which means, it is very difficult to find a place for all 10 of us. Plus we had one of Paul's friends come with us, so that adds up to 11!

We prayed, and prayed, and prayed. We asked around to couple families we knew in Korea, and also searched online for a place to stay.

The renting system in Korea is very different than what we are used to. It is quite rare to find a monthly renting system... A monthly fee could be anywhere from $4,500 to over $18,000. Which means, a Yearly renting fee could be anywhere from $26,000 to over $90,000. The prices are quite ridiculous... But interesting thing about the yearly rental is that at the end of the contract, they return the whole amount back to you!! So basically, you live for free! :D

But either way, the prices were quite unimaginable for us to afford unless God really really wanted us to rent those places...

Even 3 days before our flight, we still didn't know where we were going to stay, but our faithful mom was keep telling us kids to wait, and keep trusting in God. We waited, but it was hard to be patient when you were planning on flying out in couple of days and still didn't know where we were going to lodge!!

As a temporary stay, the Korean IBLP office allowed us to stay couple days while we still search for our place. So after the long flight, we came over to the IBLP office (apartment they use as an office).

Well, during our stay at the Korean IBLP office, we were still searching, yet trusting that if God wants to, He can find a place for a really low price anytime He wants to!!

One day, we received a phone call from our good family friend. She told us about her friend who also homeschools her children, and when she had mentioned our issue to that lady, she told that there is one empty apartment in the same building where she lived!
The lady had also contacted the owner and had asked about our situation. She told us that the owner was unusually very kind. The owner already had someone who were going to come in and live, but that wasn't going to happen until the 31st of December. So she was going to let us stay until then. It was so amazing to hear this!

We gathered some more information about this place. It was a lot bigger than where we were trying to get in by paying around $2,000. It was located very close to both of our grandparents' places. The price? ...  Well, when we asked her about the price, the owner asked us how much we would like to pay. Mom answered around $500, and the owner accepted the deal!! A 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in the city for only $500!! UNBELIEVABLE!!

Many people come and visits our place and say, this is the work of the Lord. And I truly believe that it IS the work of the Lord. Without trusting in Him, it would have been impossible. I am very grateful for a mom who was willing to wait for God's timing, and not ours. I am also very grateful for the Lord, who has answered our prayer in an amazing way we could never have imagined!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!
